We are currently looking for post-doctoral researchers and research professors who want to work with Prof. Kisuk Kang and fellow researchers at Advanced Energy Materials Lab at Seoul National University. We welcome experts of organic chemistry for rechargeable battery applications. There are a number of outstanding researchers in our group who are willing to offer candidates not only the dynamic environment but also the opportunity to co-work. Candidates should hold doctor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry or related majors. Expertise in organic chemistry, polymers for energy storage/conversion applications are preferred.
Kisuk Kang is a professor of materials science and engineering at Seoul National University (SNU). He did Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Ceder's group. His research laboratory focuses on developing new materials for Li ion batteries and post-Li battery chemistries such as Na, Mg, and metal air batteries using combined experiments and ab initio calculations. He is an active and prestigious expert in battery research with many famous papers published on Nature, Science, Nature Energy, Nature Communications and others.
If you are interested in, please send an e-mail to Prof. Kisuk Kang (matlgen1@snu.ac.kr) including a curriculum vitae, research interests, and previous achievements.
