Postdoctoral Research Associate Position Opening at The University of Oklahoma
A postdoctoral research associate position is now available in the Quantitative imaging and radiomics laboratory, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), The University of Oklahoma (OU). The newly established laboratory is fully funded and our research is mainly focused on the development of novel computer aided diagnosis schemes for identifying the early symptoms or predicting the early therapy responses of some certain type of cancers (i.e. ovary cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer).
The ideal candidate will be a Ph.D. graduate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or some other related majors. The candidate should have hand-on experience on medical imaging analysis related research during their Ph.D. study. The candidate should be able to proficiently use the common image processing tools, such as MATLAB, itk, vtk, opencv. The candidate who has the experience on deep learning algorithms (especially Caffe tools) will be considered in priority. The basic proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is required.
Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and based on the prevailing wage of post doctoral trainee set by both the University and the national institutes of health (NIH). General state employee benefits will also be offered.
